  I'd be happy with Eddie Howe, but if i was him there's no way I'd take it at this point in his career.  It's always gonna end in failure, and I can't think of one recent England boss that's gone on to a big job once their time's up. 
  
  My money's on Bruce or Pardew.

  I think Eddie Howe wouldn't cope at a bigger job than he has already especially NOT Arsenals next manager,noway,i think England need some 1 out of the yes sir pack,Roy Keane,but he probably hates us and our set up so he will be totally to good for the job so he,s out of contention :( I,d love to see Alan Shearer in the job so he can get all the flack he dishes out ;)

  Howe's definitely not ready for the Arsenal job yet, but that's sort of my point. He needs another year or 2 at Bournemouth, followed by a few years somewhere like Southampton, Everton or West Ham before he's ready for a proper big club.  If he takes the England job now then that sort of progression goes out the window.
  
  Keane and Shearer are awful shouts by the way! Might be good for a laugh, but not if we're planning on actually winning some games...

  I had money on Klinsmann taking over from Roy before Allardyce took over, I think he (Klinsmann) could do some good with the players but the only problem being he's still manager of the US mens national team. It'll be luck that someone like Gary Megson or someone like him end up being one of the front runners for job! Steve Bruce must be loving it though since he was tipped for the job, he must be the favourite to take over now.

  Felt a bit sorry for Sam, even though he did have to go. He has built his career p to this point to get his 'dream' job and then just technically chucks it away. God knows where they will go now after Southgate. Not really any English candidates and Howe wont take it just yet.
