Ok, i'll admit it, despite really enjoying the 1st season of Channel Zero (Candle Cove) the same could not be said for the 2nd season (The no end house). Wound up giving up on that after episode 3, thoght it was a poor enrty compared t the 1st season and was happy to let it pass me by. Imagine my surpise a couple of weeks ago, despite 'No end house' seemingly not finishing all that long ago that a 3rd season had just been released..that seemed REALLY quick. Im pleased to confirm that the 3rd season 'Butchers block' is a proper return to the form of the 1st season..2 episodes in and im hooked. The season essentially revolves around a pair of sisters, one of whom is mentally ill, moving a seemingly detitute town. A n area of said town, known as 'butchers block' has been plauged for years with murders, unexplained disapearances and of all things, vanishing staircase which seemingly lead to nowhere. Wont give any more away but this is definatly the most visceral of all the seasons to date, with nods to cronenburg, the legendary classic 'Dont look now'..this is one twisted puppy of a series and then some and its all the better or it (spoiler..just wait until you see the visual interpretation of schitzophrenia..you'll be all like 'wtf'. Hck, theres even an iconic piece of music right at the start of the 1st episode which may have you scratching your noggin as to where its from but actually proves to be relevent to the whole series. Cannot praise this series highly enough.
