  yea i have heard something about that one dont know too many details about it etc, but i guess if they are releasing it next year then they must pretty much be making it right now so something to look forward to i guess, i saw the very first alien movie when i was 8 and it scared the SHIT out of me lol, that scene with the little girl omg lol

  The Alien films are great films, and i do like the idea of a prequal to them,
  i just would like them to confirm if it is a alien prequal or not when it was first announced they actually said it was, then later they said it wasn't, then after that they said it was a new film set within the same universe as alien or something like that,
  i personally think it is still a prequal but they are trying to keep it secret and not reveal too much.

  i think a prequel is great beause lets face it do we really need another alien sequel lol, it's all been done and redone 100 times over lol, then again obviously if ridley scott decided to take it up it must be a decent script regardless of how its structured so high hopes for this one from me

  I like the idea of the prequal i think it could be great,
  although i wouldn`t say no to a sequal either if the script was good and if it was done by a talented director,
  saying that i`m a big fan of aliens and i`d probably watch whatever film of alien came out regardless lol.

  what's the best alien film then? the first one or one of the sequels? cuz there have been a few but probably the first two are thebest in my opinion cuz after that they start to get crazy and even winona ryder gets in on the action which is just silly lol

  My personal favourite is Aliens, although i do like all of them even alien ressurection even if it was a little more over the top than the first 3,
  i liked 3 but i think 3 would of been better if the director had been left with more freedom.

  which one is aliens, is that the second one or the third one? see it's because they don 't number them properly lol, and was aliens also directed by ridley scott?

  Tarantino is a good shout. I'm a big fan of his buddies Robert Rodriguez (From Dusk Til Dawn, Sin City, Desperado, Planet Terror), and Kevin Smith (Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma) too.

  This is a really tough list to whittle down to just five. I have to give respect to Kurasawa, Kubrick, Del Toro, Verhoeven, Coogler, Singleton, Townsend, Villeneuve, Nolan, Cameron, The Wachowskis, The Russos, Zemeckis, Mann, Lucas etc, but my top five are;
  
  Tarantino (Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Django Unchained, Inglorious Basterds, Kill Bill 1 and Kill Bill 2)
  Spielberg (Minority Report, Jurassic Park, Saving Private Ryan, Raiders of the Lost Ark and Jaws)
  Lee (Do The Right Thing, Inside Man, Malcolm X, Clockers and 25th Hour)
  Scorsese (Goodfellas, Casino, The Departed, Taxi Driver and Raging Bull)
  Fincher (Seven, Fight Club, The Game, Gone Girl and Social Network)

  Agree it is hard as James Cameron with the Terminator and Aliens but recent movies haven't been so good with him seeming to be such stuck on making Avatar movies, instead of himself directing a new Terminator movie and you got John Carpenter which as done some good classics Big Trouble in little China, Halloween, Escape from New York, The Live . 
  
  Danny Boyle which has done The Beach with Leonardo Di Caprio, Trainspotting, Sunshine, 28 Weeks Later and done some of the new James Bond, Shallow Grave. Steven Spielberg which has done some big classics included Jaws, ET, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones 1-4, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Minority Report, Empire of the Sun.
  
  Ridley Scott which brought us the original Alien movie in the series, Blade Runner, Kingdom of Heaven, Legend, Gladiator, All the Money in the world. That's my five directors.
