Just seen on the NEWS an article about England having its own National Anthem, at the mo we have as you know God Save The Queen but thats not English its British, the Scots have Flower of Scotland, the Welsh have Land of My Fathers, and we groan through GSTQ.
Its been suggested we adopt Land of Hope and Glory, or Jerusalem or even Bowies Heroe's.
Im going to throw Olivers Army into the mix :D
Whats YOUR suggestion ?

God save the Queen is a truly awful national anthem, it's one of, if not the slowest anthems out there
As a Scot I have bias towards our national anthem, especially at the football

Jerusalem would be a great national anthem in my opinion...God save the queen is just dull and none of our sportsmen/sportswomen seem that into it. -

Correct me if i'm wrong here, but as far as I knew, Jerusalem was the unofficial national anthem of the English?, at least i'm sure I heard that somewhere?, there is every chance I imagined it tho :P
