yep, it's well documented by rouke himself that he pretty much screwed himself out of the limelight all those years ago, that's pretty much why no one heard of him until relatively recently.

It's an action movie made with guys who mostly did nothing but one liners back in the 80's so it's bound to be full of them, that's how it used to work.
They also used way too much C4 back in the 80's, have you never seen Die Hard? The roof has enough of the stuff strapped to it to actually level the whole building.
