TRANSFER RUMOURS! 25th July

Didier Drogba has re-signed for Chelsea on a one-year deal. Whatever you think of him, Mourinho or the club, that's sort of nice isn't it? It's been a reasonably busy day all round at Stamford Bridge, with serial loanee Patrick van Aanholt finally about to lay down some roots with a permanent move to Sunderland.
Dejan Lovren will have a medical at Liverpool this weekend ahead of a £20m transfer. They'll have spent £50m on Southampton players once that's done, or in terms of net spend (they love all that) 66% of a Luis Suarez, so... The Divock Origi deal might have hit a snag though. Atletico are interested in signing the young Belgian, and may bid for Man Utd striker Javier Hernandez as well.
Arturo Vidal says he's staying put.
AC Milan are real keen to offload Mario Balotelli to Arsenal, if only to their hands on Joel Campbell part-ex. Sami Khedira still wants loads of cash to move to the Emirates but Iker Casillas, if reports are to be believed, sort of doesn't. Word is he'll sign for £27,000 a week. Bollocks?
Lewis Holtby can't get a game at Tottenham, but luckily for him QPR, Crystal Palace and Leicester are all keen on a loan deal. Where did it all go wrong? Vlad Chiriches looks to be on his way as well, but won't be replaced by Aston Villa centre half Ron Vlaar. Not for sale!
Southampton will have to pay at least £10m for Celtic defender Virgil van Dijk, Everton are (still) real close to signing Muhamed Besic and Andy Carroll won't be going back to Newcastle on account of being injured, again, for ages, again.
