Here’s the first proper look. Think the Snyder one might remain my favourite but we’ll see.

I'm pretty impressed with this trailer due to this version of Superman being a source of light in a world that seems more grey. The addition of Krypto is a masterstroke and so endearing. The multiple other cameos have got me just as excited. Hoult has the potential to overtake Rosenbaum as my favourite live-action version of Lex.

Not being an avid reader myself there were a few faces I didn’t recognise. Fortunately this video spells it out for others like me.

Hopefully this will be the nail in the coffin for the SnyderBros but they're harder to get rid of than nuking cockroaches. Gunn has really laid out the blueprint for the future of the DC Universe ever since he helmed The Suicide Squad. Corenswet embodies every facet of the last son of Krypton from the humble farmboy, the studious reporter to the beacon of justice. Brosnahan and the rest of the supporting cast are perfect but the stand out is Gathedi. Hoult is now the best version of Lex ever depicted on the big screen.
