Seth Rogan not only lends his voice to this reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, he's also producing it. The visual style looks really interesting and the dynamic between the brothers is perfect. The voice cast also includes Jackie Chan, John Cena, Paul Rudd, Ice Cube, Post Malone, Rose Bryne, Maya Rudolph and Giancarlo Esposito.

The character design of April O'Neil in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem is based on her design in the original comics, where she was of African-American descent. Fun Fact: the original comics took inspiration from Marvel's Daredevil, and the radioactive waste that gave Matt his powers was turned into the ooze that gave the turtles their power. Matt's antagonists the Hand got turned into their Foot Clan, and his mentor Stick became their sensei Splinter. -

Animation is the best medium to tell a story within the world of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and this looks like it'll be better than the previous five live-action films. Visually it looks good, the voice acting sounds perfect and the writing flows authentically. Ice Cube's six in the morning line might be my favourite part of the trailer.

This works really well and captures the essence of the nineties cartoon. Visually if feels so tactile. The story and character arcs are well written. Every member of the extensive and stellar voice cast is perfectly chosen, especially the four leads because they are teenagers. The camaraderie between the brothers works so well, and also their love for their father Master Splinter. Superfly is a great antagonist and his motivations make sense in comparison to the other characters. The soundtrack is perfect too given that it's set in New York. Credit to Seth Rogan for producing another hit, to go alongside The Boys and Invincible. -
