Lethal Weapon - The TV Series

RE: Lethal Weapon - The TV Series
*SLIGHT SPOILERS AHEAD*Whilst i didnt dislike episode 15 of 'Lethal Weapon' (a shame that theres only 3 episodes left of the season), it would have been so much stronger with either a more inspired casting or the non featuring at all of Leo Getz. Played to perfection in the movies by Joe Pesci, in contrast Leo in the tv series is not only unlikeable and unfunny as a character but his performance is pretty shocking as well. Whilst he doesfeature quite heavily in this episode (his introduction after all), thankfully the episode is saved by the ever reliable leads and some pretty decent action to boot as well. Hopefully, if Leo does feel the need to crop up from time to time, it wont be that often.

RE: Lethal Weapon - The TV Series
Thats episode 16 under the beklt and whilst there have been stronger episodes throughout the season thus far, it was still entertaining enough..another case of only vaguely interesting crime of the week but with the character performances by the shows leads making up for the other short comings (the frat house and the dental work scenes being 2 of the highlights). After all this waiting, finally the series is gonna start airing in the uk. For those who are interested, the series begins 9pm friday on ITV.

RE: Lethal Weapon - The TV Series
Well, thats it. For those naughty individuals such as myself who have procured this in line with it beiing shown in the states, thats episode 18 and the season 1 finale all sewn up. Verdict on the season as a whole : a pretty darn enjoyable ride, with the exception of the last couple of episodes, never really taking itself too seriously..just action packed, occassionally funny with very strong leads that really have done the classic (and not so classic) films a service and not tarnished their legacy. Whilst the final, pretty predictable episode, was a darker episode, it was enjoyable none the less. Roll on a hopefull, and clearly hoped for given events, season 2.

RE: Lethal Weapon - The TV Series
Despite the fact that it only seems like 3 and a half seconds ag that season 1 of 'Lethal Weapon' finished (even stateside with uk following a fair bit later), season 2 is about to drop. Season 2 is scheduled to commence stateside on 26th September. That said, was it a ploy by Warner Bros or another hack but nticed the other day that the season 2 opening episode was available. Naturally, had to be done even if the episode, while entertaining enough, did feel a little off. I dont know, perhaps it was because it felt a bit rushed in terms of linking events at the end of the 1st season. This said though, it was still pretty entertaining.

RE: Lethal Weapon - The TV Series
Heres hoping that you are enjoying the show so far, Dony. As far as the 2nd episde from season 2 appearing early, it appears that aint gonna happen, appears it was only the season 2 premiere that 'leaked' (if we are believing that and that this wasnt just a ploy by the bods at warner). Looks like i'll have to ait until the beginning of october for episode 2 (stateside).

RE: Lethal Weapon - The TV Series
Ok, now 'Letal Weapon' is definatly back stateside (and not just by way of the opening episode conveniently leaked lol). As far as the 2nd episode of the 2nd season goes..really is more of the same but not that thats a bad thing. The characters as likeable as ever (you d worry wit a shoow returning foor a follow up season if the powers that be decide to twaek things..doeant appear to be an issue). Also posed the question and awnser at the end of the episode 'how to resolve a situation at a distance when you have run out of bullets?' lol.

RE: Lethal Weapon - The TV Series
3 episodes in season 2 'Lethal Weapon' and whilst im still enjoying the show, something feels a little off. Granted its still entertaining but it all feels a little samey so far this season. This has also not been helped by Riggs seemingly calming down and not displaying those moments of darkness to counteract..its all a little too sweetness and light at the momebt..we need the pretty unhinged, turtured Riggs back and the duality that that bought out in the character as at the moment one episode seems to be blending into the last.

RE: Lethal Weapon - The TV Series
Another episode under the belt and another pretty solid one at that. It certainly tried doing something different with its death of the week (so to speak). Also touching on Riggs childhood, whilst it was good trying to elaborate on his back story it did little to enhance proceedings so felt a little surplus.
